CarFinanced.com is free to use, and this page explains — plainly — how it makes money.

How we’re paid

CarFinanced is an independent, advertising-supported comparison service. When you click a link to a lender or lending marketplace and take an action — typically starting or completing an application, or being approved — that company or its affiliate network pays us a referral fee. Links that compensate us are tagged as sponsored in the site’s code, which is the standard disclosure search engines expect.

What it costs you

Nothing. The rate and terms a lender offers you are identical whether you arrive through CarFinanced or go to them directly. The referral fee comes out of the lender’s marketing budget, not your loan.

How offers are ordered

Partners cannot buy placement on this site. Where the same product is available from several partners, we list them by rate. Our calculators and rate tables are driven by published industry data and the numbers you enter — never by which partner pays more.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your contact information to dealerships or lead brokers. We do not require an email address to see a result. The numbers you type into our calculators stay in your browser and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Coverage

We don’t cover every lender or every offer that exists. The market is large, and our comparisons include partners we have relationships with alongside data-driven content about the market as a whole. An offer not appearing here doesn’t mean it isn’t good.
